Law Office of Gregory Tsioros

Greg Tsioros is a native Houstonian and founder of the Law Office of Gregory Tsioros.  Greg Tsioros’ criminal law experience began in his third year of law school as an intern for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  As an intern he was assigned to the Family Criminal Law Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  This division is responsible for domestic violence cases ranging from protective orders, assault family member, aggravated assault family member, stalking, harassing, and even murder.

As an intern for a year Greg Tsioros was responsible for conducting protective order hearings for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  This experience resulted in gaining extensive experience in domestic violence cases.

Upon graduating from law school and being admitted to the bar he was hired at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney.   While employed as a prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office Greg Tsioros would be assigned to both the misdemeanor and felony trial bureaus.   As a result Greg Tsioros would handle thousands of criminal cases ranging from Class C traffic tickets to first degree felonies.   He would represent the State of Texas in trial, on Motions to Revoke Probation (MRP) and on Motions to Adjudicate (MAJ).

The typical types of cases Greg Tsioros represented the State of Texas in misdemeanor courts included Assault, Assault Family Member, Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, DWI, Failure to ID, Liquor Violations,  Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Prostitution, Reckless Driving, Theft, SOB Violations, and all other types of Class A and Class B Misdemeanors.

While in the felony trial bureau Greg Tsioros would handle all felonies ranging from state jail felonies to first degree felonies.  These types of cases included Arson, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Burglary of a Building, Burglary of a Habitation, Credit Card Abuse, Drug Possession, Evading In a Motor Vehicle, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felony DWI, Intoxication Assault, Felony Theft, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Greg Tsioros has used his experiences as an Assistant District Attorney and now as a criminal defense attorney to help his clients get the best possible results.
