There are no bills are legislation proposed at this time. In Texas the legislature meets every two years and the next time the legislature will meet again begins in January 2013.

Should you be told of some new Texas law going into effect prior to September 1, 2013 (this is the date most laws in Texas take effect after the legislative session meets, passes the bills, and the governor signs the bills into law) you will now  know it is a rumor.
